reminisce to that first kiss

laura lemmer. first girl i ever kissed. it was magical. it was on a yellow bus coming back from a field trip. i thought about touching her breasts but her braces hurt my lip. i didn't bother saying anything. i felt like i was getting away with something and pulling one over on her. i didn't want to do anything to bring reality back to her consciousness. she might stop kissing me then. i grinned and beared it and liked it.
we dated for the weekend. then monday i saw her hug my friend in the lunchroom. it was all over after that. i went home and took it out on my skateboard.
