iowa city car crash in the big easy

last night i tried to go to a show but only caught the tail end of it because it actually started on time(a half hour after the advertised time). this is not how we do down here. i missed the last show of the summer for El Radio Fantastique, featuring lovely.
anyway the important thing is that i met a traveling salesman from iowa city who happened upon the show at the dragon's den. after seeing them play he called his wife on his cell phone and asked her for a divorce. then got a room. then had drinks at the '13'. then told me the story. an egyptian man was listening in.
divorces happen in nola. and for those of us who aren't married, we divorce our sanity and beat our livers like the children we don't have. all i say is 'hey, who don't like cupcakes...?'
