papa joe forever...

just got back from joe's cozy corner. don't know what to say, jazz funeral's are kind of difficult to process. it's hard not to feel joyous and celebratory when rebirth is playing but also hard to ignore the underlying(overwhelming) sadness that permeated the air. i guess writing anymore would just undermine the essence. the world will miss papa joe.
